We put a lot of effort and time in finding the right sustainable materials for our collections. In short, every item should be highly comfortable to wear, but it should also be made from materials that do not harm our planet. But sustainability goes beyond design and materials.

You as consumer play an enormous role in the circular economy too! Taking good care of your clothes, repairing items if broken and giving items a second life are all things you can implement that benefit our planet. Organic & recycled cotton

Ethically sourced

Cotton is strong, breathable, comfortable and it absorbs quickly. That is why cotton is one of the most widely used fabrics in the clothing industry. However, the production is rich in pesticides and toxins, which is harmful to the health of farmers and to our planet. Next to that, the production of extremely water consuming. The growth of one kilogram cotton alone takes almost 20,000 liters of water.

That is why we choose to only make use of organic and recycled cotton. This reduces the use of raw materials and it protects famers, workers, the soil it grows, entire ecosystems and you, as a consumer.

How to treat it right: Organic cotton can be washed at 30 or 40 degrees. No stains in your clothes? Try to wash them as cold as possible. The greatest impact on the environment of washing is in the heating of the water.

EcoVero viscose & Tencel

Closed-loop production process

Viscose is a widely used material in the clothing industry because of its strong, soft and shiny properties. However, many chemicals are used to convert wood pulp into this substance, which eventually end up in nature. Secondly, almost all the wood used for viscose comes from old and endangered forests. To overcome these environmental problems, we only make use of sustainable EcoVero viscose and tencel that is made from certified renewable wood sources (FSC or PEFC).

This ensures that future generations will be able to enjoy the benefits of our forests. Materials used during the production process are constantly reused. The bleaching process is 100% chlorine-free. In addition, the reduction of CO2 emissions, water and energy consumption are also taken into account.

How to treat it right: Wash this sustainable material at a maximum of 30 degrees. Skip the tumble dryer to avoid shrinkage.

Responsible wool & recycled wool

Animal-friendly

Our wool is ultra soft, breathable and it has temperature regulating benefits. We only make use of recycled and animal friendly, responsible wool. This ensures the welfare of the sheep and goats and extends the life span of this valuable sustainable fiber at a fraction of the environmental costs.

How to treat it right: Due to the self-cleaning properties of wool, woolen garments need to be washed less often. Wool contains a bacteria-inhibiting substance that acts as a soap and is released after contact with moisture. You can just hang your woolen item outside in damp weather. Washing can be done by hand or with more modern washing machines with a special wool program at a maximum of 30 degrees. Make sure there are no other items of clothing in the drum that could cause hooks.

Wool becomes very heavy when wet and can therefore stretch. Therefore, lay the garment flat on the drying rack to dry.

Recycled materials & Circularity

Recycle, reuse, repurpose.

We are increasingly using recycled materials in our collections. This results in less waste and conserves natural resources. For example, our buttons and zippers are made from recycled steel and you will often encounter recycled cotton, wool and polyamide as fabric.

We are on our way to a complete circular approach. If we can reuse fabrics we will do it. why throw something away that can be reused? We don't want to create any more waste. With our #EndlessElements we contribute to this statement. We will make your old garment into something stunningly new!
